The Cavalli fashion company is 40 years old and Roberto has decided to make it a big celebration!

It’s already been 40 years since the fashion genius surprised the world with his colourful creations and patchwork-like collections. To mark his company’s big 4-0 in history, Roberto has decided to celebrate the occasion as the fashion world titan he is!

Gisèle Bündchen will be modelling the 2010 autumn and 2011 winter collections in front of cameras held by famous fashion photographers Mert & Marcus. The result should of course be an exceptional campaign-to-come!

Gisèle will become a Xena-style warrior princess in a windy desert-like setting…so savagely wild! The collection will be full off animal prints, leathers and ethnic designs!

The sexy and wild campaign will not be Cavalli’s only gift. During the month of September, a gala evening will also be organized in Paris, one of the world’s fashion capitols. The celebration will be held in no lesser place that the École supérieure des Beaux Arts, the perfect location for the launch of the official Roberto Cavalli book.

The ultimate point of this event will of course be to celebrate some of the most beautiful women in the world, Cindy Crawford, Carolina Kurkova, Heidi Klum amongst others… The Selection will be composed of the brand’s most emblematic photos produced under Fabien Baron’s artistic direction but also the latest shots by Mert & Marcus.
